Passion for the outdoors and pursuit of fish and game were defining elements of Chris Bordeaux’s development as a youngster in Bladen County, NC. Growing up in a small ranch home on his family’s farm, Chris spent most of his leisure time hunting, fishing, and building values gleaned from his treasured community. These were the beginnings of a lifelong passion for land management, stewardship, and serving others.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Soil Conservation (1994) and a Master of Science degree in Soil Science (2010) attained from North Carolina State University.  He also served as District Conservationist with the Natural Resources Conservation Service in Lenoir, Greene, Onslow, and Bladen Counties throughout a 12 1/2 - year USDA engagement. Chris eventually transitioned into the private sector serving in an ecoservices project development capacity for ~9 years, broadening his perspectives and allowing him to improve his technical and analytical skills.

 

Licensed in NC for over 20 years, he has committed to the higher standards of real estate practice under national guidelines and is proud to carry the Realtor designation.  He has assisted his clients with buying and selling large land tracts, homes, home lots, as well as commercial properties for private and charter school development, Chris enjoys remote sensing, property research, land resource assessment, land purchase/sale negotiation, and assisting clients with efficient options to fulfill their land ownership goals.  He is well-known for his professionalism, integrity, breadth of industry knowledge, and commitment to meeting his clients’ goals.
