For over 30 years, Davis has worked full time in outdoor professions including surveying and procurement forestry. But his passion for the outdoors began well before as he grew up in Fayetteville, North Carolina alongside his father and grandfather hunting and fishing in the rivers, swamps and fields of central and eastern North Carolina. His first of many achievements came a young age of 15 where he earned the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout with his local North Carolina troop. After High School, Davis went on to pursue a career in Civil Engineering attending Fayetteville Community College initially and then graduated from Louisburg College in 1987. His first post-graduate job was when he joined a survey team where he learned the ins and outs of the land survey business. After 4 years working as a land surveyor in southeastern North Carolina, Canal Wood Timber Company quickly recognized his talents and recruited him into the timber Industry in 1991 as a procurement forester that has fueled his outdoor experience for over 30 years.

Today, Davis continues to work with landowners in a wide range of tasks from timber management to land sales.

Davis has worked in every county east of I-95 assisting property owners with their land and has intimate knowledge of eastern and central North Carolina. Not only has Davis built a career in the outdoors, but he also still loves to dig into eastern North Carolina after a big buck, long-bearded turkey, or a limit of speckled trout with friends, family, and quite often, many of his lifetime list of clients. Davis resides in Holly Ridge and maintains his passion for the outdoors in both work and pleasure.
